ONLINE Enrollment

Point System Conference (PSC) and Driver Improvement Program (DIP) classes may be completed online or in person. 

• This online information/enrollment page is for the PSC and DIP online classes. Please read the following information, and if you would like to complete the course online you may enroll by clicking the link at the bottom of the page.

PROGRAM REQUIREMENT - When you accumulate 5, 6, or 7 points on your driving record within a two year period, the MVA will mail a letter informing you that you have to take the PSC. Your PSC/DIP due date will be in the corner of that letter. If your license is suspended or revoked you will be required to complete the DIP. Also, if you are guilty of a moving violation while on your Provisional License, you may be required to complete the DIP class.  

To complete the PSC or DIP class online:

1. Enroll online to take your required class (PSC or DIP). 

To complete PSC you must read online sections 1 and 2.  

To complete DIP, you must complete online sections 1 through 7.

2. Complete the material and review the practice quizzes at your own pace 

3. After you enroll, and know that you will soon be completing the online material, you must contact our office to schedule a testing appointment. If you contact us by email to schedule a testing time, you must provide your full name and the testing location that you selected when you enrolled. If you do not provide this information in the email, we will be unable to adequately assist you. Please do not wait until your due date to contact us for testing. If you call in advance for a testing appointment, the easier it will be to accommodate you. DIRECTIONS ARE ON OUR WEB SITE, PLEASE DO NOT CALL.

4. Pay the required fee and take the test. No checks!

PAYMENT/TESTING

The costs for the classes are $25 for PSC and $50 for DIP. Payment may be made in cash (Exact Change Please!) or money order at the time of testing or in advance BY PHONE with credit card. After completing the online course, clients may be tested at any of our 7 school locations. Testing will be done by appointment. Please note that students should not wait until their due date to arrange for test scheduling. Please contact us no later than 1 week before your DIP/PSC due date to assure that your testing can be accommodated. At some of our locations, we may be able to do testing in a shorter time frame if the situation warrants. You could inquire if this is possible by calling our office, but please note that there are no guarantees. Approved instructors will administer your test and be available to answer questions regarding the program. A photo ID MUST be shown upon arriving to take the test. If not, no test will be given. Also, please bring your MVA referral letter. NO CHECKS!! Directions to our testing locations are on our website.

COMPLETION TIME

With our online program, you have the luxury of taking the course at your own pace. There is no minimum time that you must spend on the site. However, you must complete the program by the date listed on your referral letter. If you fail to complete the PSC and the PSC test by the PSC due date you will be required to take DIP. Additionally, if you fail to complete the DIP and the DIP test by the DIP due date, your license will be suspended. The PSC test is 10 multiple choice questions. The DIP test is 20 multiple choice questions. DIP students must take both tests. The passing grade is 80%. If you fail the test, you can retake the test with no additional charge. However, you must wait at least 24 hours. Please note that the test(s) are not extremely difficult.  Our online practice quizzes can serve as a good review prior to testing.

COMPLETING WRONG CLASS

It is your responsibility to complete the correct program. If you complete the online PSC, but are required by the MVA to complete the DIP, then you will be credited for the amount that you have paid for the online PSC. To complete the online DIP, you will have to pay the difference in cost. If you have completed and passed the PSC test, then you will only have to complete the DIP test. If it is our error that you paid for and complete the online DIP program rather than the required online PSC class, the difference in cost will be refunded. If you only needed to attend a PSC but attended and completed DIP through your own error and insistence, no money will be refunded.

COMPLETION LETTER

After completing the course and passing the final test at one of our offices, you will receive a completion letter. Please keep this copy for your records. You must score at least an 80% on the test. We notify the Maryland MVA of your completion if you provided a Maryland soundex/license number.

SERVER PROBLEMS

If our server becomes disabled for any reason, please call one of our branch locations. If the problem is not immediately resolved, we will arrange for you to complete the remainder of the program class in person for no extra charge.
